Lost ctrl over mouse after exit from Kiosk when used Wacom tablet[M593][V6]

  • Can U reproduce the problem & if so how reliably?: Always when Wacom Intuos 3 graphic tablet (model PTZ-631W) is connected (USB) and installed official driver.
  • If U can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what U did & what happened:
    a. Connected Wacom tablet.
    b. Enter to Virtual Kiosk.
    c. Exit from VK or Switch To Windows.
    d. Now, the mouse pointer is freezed (details on attached video)
  • If not obvious, what U expected to happen:
  • If a software compatibility problem have U tried the conflict FAQ?:
  • Any software except CIS/OS involved? If so - name, & exact version: Wacom tablet driver ver. 6.36w3 64bit (earlier versions tested too).
  • Any other information, eg your guess at the cause, how U tried to fix it etc: Logoff returns control over mouse.
  • Always attach - Diagnostics file, Watch Activity process list, dump if freeze/crash. (If complex - CIS logs & config, screenshots, video, zipped program - not m’ware)

  • Modules enabled & level. D+/HIPS, Autosandbox/BBlocker, Firewall, & AV: All, HIPS=Safe, BBlocker=Blocked, Firewall=Custom Ruleset, AV=cloud is off.
  • Have U made any other changes to the default config? (egs here.): No
  • Have U updated (without uninstall) from a CIS 5?: No

    [/li]- Have U imported a config from a previous version of CIS: No
    [li]if so, have U tried a standard config - if not please do:
    [/li]- OS version, SP, 32/64 bit, UAC setting, account type, V.Machine used: Windows 7, SP1, 64bit, UAC=on, admin, VM used & not used

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

The devs will not be able to fix this issue. The problem appears to be that it would be too much work to replicate this bug given that Comodo does not have access to the tablet. Also, the number of users affected by this are very low. I’m sorry.

Thus, I will move this to Outdated.
