Not sure if its the same thing but i’ve noticed that when I have the latest version installed it almost randomly denies me admin privileges. This has happened on both installs and uninstalls, for example every time I tried to install a Brother MFC 990CW driver set it said “You don’t have admin privileges” and wouldn’t let me until I removed comdo after that it went through with no problems.
If you have the sandbox enabled, check that you have ‘automatically detect installers’ ticked under sandbox settings.
If you already have this ticked then detection is failing for these files. You can get round this problem by setting the installation file to ‘installer-updater’ in the computer security policy.
Alternatively if you are getting a operating system ‘run as’ request choose to change user to the current user. Wierd but it works.
