Looping Update Process - is this a known issue with 5.0.163652.1142

I recently updated to Version 5 and now the Red Comodo Icon appears in System Tray. Despite having performed the update under Admin account, while I am logged on as non-Admin I see cmdagent.exe continuously trying to perform update. Is anyone else also experiencing this?

I should also mention that I have made certain the checkboxes for update under General and Update Tabs in Preferences is removed.

What do you mean with continually trying to update? How often?

It checks, cmdagent.exe for new av definitions every half an hour.

Go to Anti Virus → Scanner Settings → Real Time Scanner → now disable “automatically update anti virus database”.
