Long long initialisation

v3.9.95478.509 just installed and this long delay (over 3 minutes) for initialisation is still with me. I had hoped this one would get rid of it.

CFP just blocks everything until it has initialised so this length of delay is just intolerable. What can be done about it? ???

How did you update to 3.9? Did you install a previous configuration from 3.8?

I have the same problem but only on some computers. After installing the latest version 3.9 on a notebook compaq CQ-40-305 with Windows XP SP3, the system is frozen 3 minutes at the start of windows (with the Windows logo static).

After these 3 minutes, magically begins to enter the system in normal form. I just happen with this model of notebook.

Any solution or change?

Can you take a look at the logs of Windows in Event viewer. Event viewer can be found under Control Panel → Administrative tools.

This is the event that generates the problem.

CIS uninstalling this event is over and the time of entry into the windows back to normal.

I have the latest driver downloaded from the disk controller of the Intel Web

This problem does not occur under Windows Vista, but it is strange, all programs work correctly on Windows XP, except CIS

Can you take a look at the Defense + logs and show us a screenshot of it?

Try disabling Defense + and see if the same thing happens. Go to Defense + → Advanced → Defense + settings → tick “Deactivate the Defense + permanently (requires a system restart)” and reboot the computer. Does the same thing happen?

The problem that limited the Acronis True Image 2009 and comodo internet security 3.9

Order of installation of the programs:

First configuration

  1. Windows XP SP3 - ok
  2. Acronis True Image 2009 + partition Acronis Secure Zone - ok
  3. CIS 3.9 - opening freezes 3 minutes and recording eventor indicates a response time of the invalid device ide0

Second configuration

  1. Windows XP SP3 - ok
  2. CIS 3.9 ok
  3. Acronis True Image 2009 - opening 3 minutes and frozen register eventor response time indicates an invalid device ide0
  4. In this configuration does not delete the Acronis Secure Zone because he had backup important files

SOLUTION !!!

  1. Do not uninstall the CIS
  2. Uninstall Acronis true image and delete the partition Acronis Secure Zone
  3. Reinstall Acronis True Image
  4. Re-creating the partition in Acronis Secure Zone
  5. Now everything is working correctly

Anyway it is strange that in the Acronis have problems, please check some sort of incompatibility of CIS + Acronis True Iamge + intel controller ich9M in windows xp SP3.
