Logging

I am running the current release version of CPF. Yesterday I was trying to upgrade my router firmware and getting nowhere - until I disabled CPF. There was no indication anywhere (that I could see) that this activity was being blocked. I have no problem with it being blocked uhtil i set up some sort of rule, but unless I can see in a log message that something has been blocked then I have no idea what rule to set up! My CPF setup is essentially the default settings, is there some additional logging that I can enable so that all blocked activity is logged?

Yes. You need to goto Security->Network Monitor, double click on the last rule i.e. BLOCK IP IN FROM ANY TO ANY… and select “Create an alert when this rule is fired” option to see logs.
