Link updated from Kaspersky, it gives you as well as the activation code as the installation.

Well Vettetech, I’ve seen that they got 2009 back from the market but still don’t understand why. Anyway this should fix it ;D. If anyone comes up with something else, PM me and I will add :slight_smile:

Well in some kind of manner you can consider this as a kind of commercial advertising which could influencing some people in to buying some software they were not intended to buy in the first place… this topic does not give much information on the products itself, it just linking and advertise software products BUT there is a difference you are showing some FREE stuff for people to download, so that is a difference when the companies would do it by them selfs…

Hey eXPerience, I appreciate those helpful links for products, I just want to point something out about the nod32 link you gave us all. According to a thread in Wilders forums about 2 years ago, Marcos said that such licenses will be canceled for people outside of Hong Kong China area. Not sure if that is indeed the case or not, but I believe Marcos is one of those higher ups there. Just want to point that out.

As nod32 club does look to be an official reseller of nod32 for China/Hong Kong residents I don’t believe forum rules were violated, so all is well

Dumped KAV. Firefox kept crashing. Still had a valid license for NOD32 so I am now running that. KAV 09 also failed the System Shutdown Simulator. It let the eicar test run. Avast and NOD32 stop it.

Just go with avira for now, that’s my advice, so much faster and lighter on the resources. Eagerly awaiting CAVS 3.

Yeah I know I have been switching lately. I was along time user of NOD32 till Avira 8 came out. Was uisng Avira 8 but about every 4h or 5th boot up the “umbrella” never opened. There are other posts about this over at Avira fourms. Clean install same thing. So I thought I go back to Avast but I cannot get use that dumb GUI no matter what skin. Also there are 5 processes that run with Avast. So then after talking to eXPerience I thought I would try KAV 09. I tried KAV 7 years awhile back and it slowed my pc and browsing down. Well so doesnt KAV 09 and also Firefox was crashing. Avira also slowed browsing down when I opened up several tabs. So then I went back to NOD32 and my pc is lightening fast. Even with the web shield on pages load very fast.
