Lenovo CSS 8.x and CIS 5.x conflict

Hi,

I have the problem with CIS 5.3.xxxxxx.xxxx (latest version and before too) and lenovo CSS 8.30.0045.00 (latest version and 0044 also) on lenovo T60 with Windows 7.

First error message was when updated these softwares from previous version. The message>
There was a problem connecting to the TPM (security device) on this computer. It is possible that anti-virus or firewall is blocking the connection. A missing or disabled device driver could also cause this problem. Please refer to to the online documentation for more information.

Password manager couldn’t start, but interesting, sometimes yes, but Lenovo CSS software not. If I disabled Defense+, Firewall, Antivirus, Sandbox, the failure comes again.
If I uninstall CIS, works everything.
Haven’t got any report in Firewall/Antivirus/Defense+ event viewer, that can I add add trusted application or somthing like that.

Anybody can help in it, or have an idea to correct this issue?
Thanks in advance…

hey and warm welcome to comodo forums!

add the wanted application in d+ rules (CIS —> D+ ----> Computer Security Polixy ----> D+ rules ----> add)

if this doesn’t help add the application in exclusions of detect shellcode injections (CIS —> Defense+ —> Defense+ Settings —> Execution control Settings —> Detect shellcode injections (i.e. Buffer overflow protection) —> Exclusions —> Add —> Browse…)

to add wanted application in firewall (CIS —> firewall ----> Network security Policy —> Application rule —> add)

I hope this helps.
