I have a problem, which I’m not sure is related to CIS/Defense+, but might be. My problem is that DOS applications can’t receive user input (keyboard and mouse input). To be clear, I’m not talking about terminal applications in general, but actual DOS applications. Command.com, QBasic (!) and that kind of thing.
I’m using Windows XP 32-bit. I’d like to ask other people with CIS installed to try running command.com (not cmd.exe; you can distinguish them because command.com says “Microsoft(R) Windows DOS”) and see if you can write things at the prompt.
