I recently had an update for Java (8.40 or something like that) and have been unable to enable it in Comodo Dragon Browser. I have tried many things but still can’t get online games that use Java to run. any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums. When a topic does not get responded to after 24 hrs you are allowed to ‘kick’ it. That way you can keep attention to it.
I know little to nothing about the Comodo browsers (I’m a stubborn Opera classic user) but I noticed Jave does not show up in the plug ins list.
It was posted days ago (more than 24 hrs). Nearly a week or more. that is why is was reposted as "2nd attempt for answers).
I am also now having trouble with “shockwave” not loading. I close the “x” for that message and it just shows right back up again.
Also in that case you could have kicked the topic. The 24 hrs is a minimum time frame after which bumping is allowed.
Do you have “Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP Referrer header)” disabled?
For the shockwave, even if that option (the do not trace) is active/inactive, still shows that it can’t load at top of screen. 
Do you have some url’s for us to test for both the problem with Java and Flash?
www.pogo.com uses flash and java for their games to load. Hope that helps.
For the flash errors, it appears at the top of each and every window/tab that is open. Ex: Facebook, email pages, etc.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been rattling my brain as to the cause of the issue and coming up blank.
Maybe try disabling a 3rd party extensions in case of a conflict.

That didn’t help. I’m still having where Java won’t load for browser. I have checked all the options and Java is marked for being enabled. But thanks for all the advice everyone. If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know. I’m getting to my my wit’s end with this issue. Very frustrating lol
