Unable to do Java Updates with CIS 8.2.0.4508 unless I opt for GAME MODE. No matter how often I click a permanent or even a non-permanent rule for the update process, it always ends up in a failure and Oracle suggest a retry which again pops new rule which I accept and ends up in a failure once more.

The very instant I start game mode, no more problems. I must also say this is not the first application I’ve noticed having new problems with CIS, I have opted for GAME MODE a bit too often lately.

In this update process, here’s the first one:

  1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jucheck.exe
  2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin\jp2launcher.exe
  3. C:\Users*******\AppData\Local\Temp\jre-8u45-windows-au.exe (this is where the process fails each and every time)
  4. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_45\bin\jp2launcher.exe

Also forgot to mention this is on Windows 8.1 and quite a few comodo files are not even regonized as comodo files by comodo itself as I must manually add them. All in all, I must say they are quite a few bugs in this release I have stumble upon.
