Issue in Comodo Backup 4.3.8.0 - Scheduled backup with password encryption

  • Other Backup & Security Software Installed: No other backup / Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.3001.165

  • How you produced the problem: Trying backup from windows machine to a server(windows 2008) in local lan. Scheduled backup with password encryption is not happening. However the same happens without password encryption.

  • How you tried to resolve the problem: Unable to resolve

  • Screen-shots with the error (if any): N/A

  • if the issue is a BSOD, please post all the dump files in \Windows\Minidump folder (you can compress them): N/A

  • if the issue is an error please run the dbgInfo.bat in installation folder as administrator and post the resulting cbu file.: N/A

Hello,

I am facing the same issue with the same version while using Windows 8.1. Trying to backup locally, with a scheduled backup that is encrypted. It fails to schedule the backup. Request you to please provide a fix for the same at the earliest. Also the encryption password appears to be not saved.
