weird, I don’t have that. Delete the extra ones and see how it works.

I also have this.

It just ask for them again.

The same issue was reported in this post with CIS 3.5.

I am not sure, but this may have been fixed in 3.9 BETA.
The release information states:
“FIXED! CIS creates duplicate file name entries for some protected file access alerts”

I have not done any Beta testing on 3.9…perhaps someone who has tested 3.9 can confirm that this issue has been fixed.

FYI: I do not have this issue in 3.9 RC2.

Same - the files are not duplicated with CIS 3.9 RC2 on my system.

This is like i think not a bug.

You have a global ruleset for CIS.
If an action not listed in this ruleset appears, CIS creates an own ruleset for this application.

I don’t know what is the specific issue, but i think you can delete them. And if they occure again, you have to prompt the action(Defense Alert), it would be right.

It’s not present here in 3.9RC2 clean installed.

Also do not have in CIS 3.9 RC2…

The predefined have access to more then the other ones, they just have “ask” in every access right.
except they are allowed to run them self as executable.

Maybe i should just add that to the predefined, and then delete the duplicates.
