IS THERE A PROBLEM? (Comodo V.3)

hey everyone i tested my firewall comodo v.3.

Traffic Sent

Packets were successfully sent to your computer. The server was unable to obtain a connection or any traffic from your computer. This generally indicates that your firewall blocked the traffic successfully.

IF YOU DID NOT SEE AN EVENT WARNING IT MAY INDICATE THAT THE TRAFFIC DID NOT REACH YOUR COMPUTER AT ALL.

i didnt recive a event warning
why not?
can i get some help thank you…

Hi LOELOE

I suspect that CFP merely viewed the sent packets as unsolicited & rejected them. Check CFPs Firewall Log for confirmation.

To be clear, CFP doesn’t raise visible alerts for unsolicited connection attempts (it would drive you nuts if it did).

so should i be worried?

Because CFP blocked an unsolicited connection attempt? No, not at all. That is what it is meant to do.

i have more question about this thread somone posted

Dear developers and users,

I’ve been using Comodo for a week with no problems at all. Love Comodo

But today I’ve noticed that, where the number of connection grows up, Comodo starts taking 100% of my processor.
If I start eMule, the whole system completely hangs, but the problem still happens with other programs…

What can I do? Embarrassed

Thank you in advance.

how can i avoid this issue?

Sorry, I cannot help on this issue, as I’m not familiar with eMule or the actual problem. You’ll need to wait for someone else to answer.

oh ok thanks for your support though thanks man…

LOELOE,

I’m running both eMule and CFPv3 right now. Around 80 active connections, and no problems whatsoever. CPU usage is 5-10%.

Try turning protocol analysis off in Firewall - Attack Detection Settings - Miscellaneous, some people have CPU usage problems with it enabled.
