Is the file BIT4551 an issue

Hello @all,

last week comodo internet security told me that it found : packed.Win32.MUPX.Gen@129019204 in Windows\Temp. The file which was reported is named as BIT4551.tmp!

Is it an issue or maybe a false-positiv?

The message poped-up as i started Skype. I quarantined it and others scans found nothing else.
In the same folder i find an another file with the same name like the quatantined one. But this remaining file (not the one which was quarantined) was never reported as an issue!

My System:
Windows 8.1, 64bit Intel Core i5

What can i do? Have i to do something, is my system still infected?

Many thanks for your help in advance,

Patrick

Temp files of various programs have names like that. So the name is not an indication of the possible nature of the file. In case of doubt you can scan your system with Hitman Pro, Malwarebytes Antimalware and Super Antispyware. My best guess is that it is an innocuous file.

Thanks to you Eric.

That was exactly what i expected. I hope somebody else can rate this file too.
