Is My Comodo O.K.?

I often launch the CPUMon to see how much my CP is engaged.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember what it used to read when I was using Kaspersky Anti-Hacker.
Now that I’m using Comodo Firewall Pro v., I can see the CPUMon’s graph jump regularly ut to 50-100% every 3-5 seconds, even when an Internet site is just opened and no action is unfertaken on my part.
With that in view, I am wondering if:

  • it is typical of CPF and this is its usual behavior, and one should not worry about it;
  • there is something wrong with its settings, or
  • maybe it doesn’t feel quite friendly towards my Anti-Virus AVG, or
  • there is something else.
    Pleasу advise.
    Thank you (V)

Welcome to the forum, evergreen. (:WAV)

-Typical for many, untypical for others. Yes, one should worry about it because it appears to be a bug
-Nothing wrong with the settings, also disabling Monitor Dll Injections can solve the cmdagent.exe issue
-maybe, but unlikely as there are no reported cpu issues with AVG that I’m aware of
-there is; like setting the logs.log file to read-only

I recommend this grand ** FAQs/Threads - Read Me First ** (available as the sticky thread in the Help board):

Version 2.4 - cpf.exe and High CPU,6819.0.html,6933.0.html,6943.0.html

Version 2.4 - cmdagent.exe and High CPU,5499.0.html,5972.0.html,6160.0.html

In the current v3 alpha, the cpu issue seems to be eliminated except for some Vista users.
