Is it typical to have more than one C:\Program Files\ listed in selective startu

Running Windows XP Home with AVG, CFP, CMG, C-BOClean, WinPatrol, CounterSpy, WinDef…

I was checking my selective startup in msconfig and noticed that there are two Comodo Firewall C:\ Program Files listed…
Both C:\Program Files\Comodo\Firewall\cfp.exe and “C:\Program Files\Comodo\Firewall\cfp.exe”-h

Is this normal and are both files required to be running for CFP to operate properly? I like to keep my selective startup as bare bones as possible in order to help keep my speed up.

No need for running all those programs in real time. Especially Counter Spy.

Only C:\Program Files\Comodo\Firewall\cfp.exe"-h here

Disable one of them and see what happens. Did you ever uninstall Comodo? And reinstall. Sounds like a left over entry. You can also disable Winpatrol.

Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled Comodo but it was long ago. If I disable WinPatrol will it come up when I download something new?
Do I even need WinPatrol anymore?

When I had WinPatrol it was useful for telling me that a newly installed app. wanted to start with Windows. The other use was, sometimes, finding out what something was.

Now that the internet is so much more developed it’s easy to find out about things.
A firewall [probably] won’t tell you about auto-starting apps (something for CFP?) but there are other apps that will let you look. I use Code-Stuff Starter as the easiest one.
