is it possible that CIS triggers a 'known folders' error in Windows Event Viewer

I get the following error in windows 7 event viewer at least once a day sometimes twice a day:

Error 0x80070005 occurred while verifying known folder {f1b32785-6fba-4fcf-9d55-7b8e7f157091} with path ‘C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local’

on a MS Windows forum it was suggested with regard to this problem that:

"Some antivirus program do have exlusive control over the hard drive for advance security purpose. These programs locks the hard drive and may not allow the program to make changes in the hard drive. Thus creates conflicts. "

is it possible that one of the components of CIS locks the hard drive? if I’d like to check that, which setting should I look for on CIS main GUI?

I would not expect CIS to interfere. But that being said could you check the D+ logs to see if CIS reporting blocking action to that folder?

Did you make changes to the default settings of CIS that concern Windows system areas?

Can you also try to access that folder using Windows Explorer? This may show a problem with permissions to that folder when if such a problem is there.

no blocking has been reported.

I dont think I did, but could you please give an example what such changes look like?

I can access it easily with explorer, no permission problem... Mod edit: Added quote tags, Captainsticks.

It nothing shows up and you don’t recall making changes then

I just wanted to make certain this was not interfering.

I found an interesting angle here at answers.microsoft.com. Is the event id from the logs 1002?

yes, event 1002, I already read these pages though and the solutions described there didnt apply to my particular situation, maybe it has nothing to do with Comodo, I just wanted to know if it was possible that CIS would cause that

Can be read here.
If it will help you.?

From what I understand of the linked topic:

These folders don’t exist in a default installation of Windows 7, their absence is not a result of misconfiguration, or something that has gone wrong.
.

As far as I can tell there is no interference of CIS.
