IObit the developers of the excellent Advanced Systemcare and SmartDefrag have just released the first beta of their new AM/light HIPS application.Designed to run alongside an AV product,this looks very promising on early impressions.Some of the features have yet to be implemented such as the Tools.

Did you test if it works side by side with full blown CIS?
It should be. It’s something like MBAM. Just a small database with common rogues/trojans etc. Nice to know that it remains free (until further notice)

It works fine alongside CIS with no issues but I did turn of the realtime protection after initial testing since it has light HIPS qualities,so is unnecessary with D+.

Over on the IObit forums it speaks of it not containing a full AV or firewall yet.Perhaps these are planned for a future version.As for future licensing I’d expect them to follow the model used in Advanced Systemcare,a perfectly adequate free version with a paid pro version with additional functions.
perfect complement to cis and mbam . should keep in touch with this product in the future.

I installed beta 2.2 yesterday. No conflict. Uninstalled it today (I don’t need it ;)).

Beta 3.0.
Latest version report my Antivirus and Firewall turned off.
But Windows security center report it’s up-to-date and turned on.
Isn’t it a bug ?

Some features are now disabled (OFF) in the free version:
No automatic updates? I’m not even going to contemplate using this program.
It will check for update when program start in free version.
that’s mean It eill update when computer start. (If you set to auto start)
Seems like MBAM to me. Only this one still has a realtime scanner ?
