Internet mail is blocked


I am new to Comodo Internet Security and still trying to get the hang of it. So far, it seems like a great product.

I am having some trouble with internet mail however. I am unable to send messages when logged into an internet mail site. I have tried multiple mail sites and get the same result. Messages are blocked, without an error message, and in most cases, IE shuts down.

I am running Vista Home Edition SP 1, with IE 7.0. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.


What happens when you disable the Firewall? Click right on the CIS icon in the sys tray and disable the Firewall. Do the same things happen?

OK - Apparently some internet mail seems to work, just not my connection to an exchange server. I did try turning off the firewall to no avail. Does that fact that the exchange server site doesn’t have a valid certificate have anything to do with the issue?
