i can’t sign in the application…while i can login in the web application …whats happening???

Hello, I am also having a problem login in with the software (both, the one one my account settings to which I believe is the same at the COS website).

This is the message I get:
Internal error encountered while login in: 116

Using XP SP3 Home edition

The error is most likely caused by no drive letter being available to mount the COS drive.

I sure I dont have from the A to the Z drivers mounted on my 1GB RAM Atom Mini Laptop. :azn:
ITs only C: (HDD) active. So, its useless for me? (by the way, GeekBuddy was not able to fix it). :embarassed:

i have used COS was unable to login to my online storage account… after that i uninstalled application and tried CB … and i was able to login into that software…

i think since COS is in beta stage…the problem has encountered… i think comodo team will debug this problem soon…

i encountered this problem in the software that i downloaded from the link provided recently on comodo desktop security facebook fan page…

Well, it seems that this issue is still present in version 2.1.7.51.
First, after COMODO Cloud is launched, a pop-up box shows up with a message:

COMODO Online Storage service is not started

Then, no matter how hard I try, I cannot log in to my account:

There’s no way I can connect to CC via the Cloud client (see the post above). Any thoughts on what may be wrong and what on Earth error 176 stands for?

Error 176 means that the COSService is stopped. Please start it and then try again.

And yes, I tried stopping it and restarting. Same thing, still COS Client claims that “COMODO Online Storage service is not started”, which is not true.

Please collect the debug logs. after the error happens again.
Also please mention if you have any security software that might sandbox CBU.exe and not allow it communicate with COSService.exe
