Installation - programs folder vs. programsx86 folder

Hello,
I have Windows 7 Home 64-bit machine. Yesterday I installed Comodo Back-up. It defaulted to Programs folder. But is Comodo itself a 64-bit or a 32-bit application? If it is a 32-bit application, shouldn’t it be installed in the Programs_x86 folder?

Hi

Depends on the operating system.
If the OS is 64-bit then the 64bit binaries are installed, else if the OS is 32bit then the 32bit binaries are installed.
So, it’s ok for Comodo BackUp to install in Program Files on a 64bit OS.
