installation of cav-linux failed : LinuxMint 21.3

Hi, the installation failed with this messages:

$ sudo nala install ./cav-linux_x64.deb 
[sudo] Passwort für USER:           
cav-linux

Notiz: Die obigen Informationen können hilfreich sein
Fehler: Sie haben beschädigte Pakete zurückgehalten
$ sudo nala install libssl0.9.8
Fehler: libssl0.9.8 hat keinen Installationskandidaten.

Whast should I do now?

Sorry has not been updated for years.

Another user supplied a fix but this also outdated now.

Seems to be only very few linux-user, who install this software.
I am wondering whether I should install a software whose manufacturer has not provided a reasonable installation process for linux for years

CAV for Linux was released 12 years ago, please don’t install it.

The CAVL development is discontinued and there is no plan to build new version at the moment.
