Installation Error - disk's total sector is not consistent

Hi,

I’m trying to install CTM to my Win XP SP3 32-bit.

I have two HDDs. 2x 250 GB. 1 HDD slitted to C:, D: & E: and the other to F: & G:

I tried to install CTM to C: ~40GB free space.

Installation went through until the point I had to restart the PC.
During booting I got the following error message:

“The disk’s total sectors is not consistent with the disk size. Setup cannot continue.”

Any help ???
Thanks in advance .

I also got this, but I am on Win 7 64 bit, then after I loaded into the OS, CTM was not installed anymore, and since then, any reinstall, upon reboot it’s no longer installed.

Anyone?

Really? No response from Comodo? I guess I will be trashing the install on my notebook, which works, due to no response and will not be worrying about this at all on my home machine which is where the problem is.

Thanks for nothing!

Just because they don’t respond doesn’t mean they did not look at it.

There is a good chance that they cant fix it with this version, so you will have to wait for the next version to install it.

That doesn’t mean they see it either. Just look at my error reports all the same for 2 beta and a final release of CTM. None is done. ;D

PM Doskey with links to your posts, and ask if he can help.

Nah, thanks. I’m able to install it unplugging the second HDD and it works. There r some other errors - I just don’t want to shout into the empty space - it’s a bit tiresome. We don’t speak about my headache too. Sorry. Sorry I can’t help a man.

This IS the HELP forums for their company and product, I would expect them to acknowledge the issues with their product. If they know about it, just say SO. If they don’t, SAY SO.

The forums are run by us mod’s we are volunteers, all the forum fee’s are payed by Comodo. So dont always expect a reply… you can bump your post if 24+ hours have gone by, without any reply.

You can do the same I told Apach, PM Doskey, his the Team Leader for CTM.

I posted on the 9th, it’s now the 13th…

Hi, sorry for replying late, we are investigating this error.

Best Regards

Has been fixed in 157 release.
