Hi,
A new boy question…sure it has been asked many times before…but can not see it (:NRD).
I have moved from ZoneAlarm to Comodo yesterday.
Need some help.
1…I currently have a number of files “waiting for your review”.
Sent a number to Comodo for checking out(submit), as I did not recognize them.
How do I receive an answer/reply?.How long does it take ?.
2…When I start up my internet connection I get a message screen saying 'New Private Network Detected".
Shows 2 IP address numbers.
The Firewall has detected a new private network that your PC is about to join.
You may either close this window or follow the steps shown in this screen.
I have been closing the window.
I do not fully understand this.
I have a stand alone PC…not on any network …home machine.
I connect via a router/modem to my IP.
I do not know or understand if my PC has been set up for many users,it was set up by my Internet shop when I purchased the kit.
Concerned if I mark the wrong box it will ■■■■■ things up with my IP connection or the workings of the PC.
Any help would be appreciated for this thick non computer plonker (:SAD).
If I have posted in the wrong place , sorry…please move.

Q: How do I receive an answer/reply?.How long does it take ?
A: The File That You Submitted Will Be Taken Off The “waiting for your review” An Answer But Comodo Gets About 100,000+ Files A Day To Analyze And if Found Nice it will be added to Their safelist and will be marked safe in your ‘list’ … if this makes since
Q:When I start up my internet connection I get a message screen saying 'New Private Network Detected
A: This is to tell the firewall which network you may or may not want to trust… Other People Would Revise This
Thanks for the reply.
Understand the first…thinking about the second.
Have just logged back on and my Comodo shield(tray) has a red no entry sign on it.
When I open, it says…Comodo Application Agent is not running.
I ran diagnostic…it says it found no problem.
What is this all about.
Sorry…I am new to these computers as you may have gathered.

Think my “Comodo Application Agent is not running”…problem has sorted its self out, well hope so.
I received an update from dear Windows yesterday…SP3 pack for Windows XP.
Every thing went belly up from that point on, Comodo,Avast and so on.
Received an update today , restarted and all is back to normal.
Bless Windows (:TNG).
