Incorrect date format in log [302]

The bug/issue

    Opened on of the event logs

    the date was in the incorrect format (US)

    the date in the correct format (UK)

    Check in regional settings that the region was set to UK

Your set-up

  1. CIS version, AV database version & configuration used:
    5.0.163652.1142 AV:6277
  2. OS version, service pack, no of bits, UAC setting, & account type:
    Windows 7 64 bit Home Pro UK, UAC on, admin account set for UK region.

OK can confirm the same on my machine. An inconvenience rather than a major issue I think, so will not get a tracking ID for now

Looking at it some more I found out that if I select German as the language then I get dates in a different format, so it looks as if the date format is taken from the language instead of the locale or an independent setting. As you don’t supply en-GB, or en-CA, these are forced to use the US specific format rather than their own.

That is my suspicion too!

Should pick up the wiindows settings… I agree.
