Improved its antivirus detection rate

The only thing I hope Comodo to do is to improve its antivirus detection rate and reduce false positive rather than keep on adding new features. It is because detection is quite important for an antivirus software and I found that sometimes false positive can cause much damage for a computer. I know Comodo is focusing on “Protection” rather than “Detection” but why not it improves its antivirus detection rate rather than adding new product or feature since detection is one part of protections of a security software. Sorry for my broken english, I just want to voice out my opinion and don’t have the intention to offense others.

Well Melih and the team have something in the cooker that is supposed to rock the antivirus world so maybe that is the answer to your question

Thanks for the reply. By the way, I am using Comodo Internet Security Premium now since it is improving rapidly.

add Immunet. It will work together with your CIS. I use this combo.

Thanks for your suggestion. For your information, I am using CIS+Immunet free+ Malwarebytes free in my laptop now.

May I ask you a question? What if I just use Mircosoft Security Essentials(MSE)+Comodo firewall+ immunet free+ Malwarebytes free, are they good enough to protect my laptop? The reason that I want to change to MSE is because it has good detection rate(I think) which can help me to detect the nasty malware in my pendrive. I am a university student and I always use my pendrive as a tool of transferring files to/from others.

I have tried MSE and it did block one malware once. If you’re not a pro at computers or if you don’t the interest then Mircosoft Security Essentials is a good choose; it’s as simple as it can get. ( MSE+Comodo firewall+ immunet free+ Malwarebytes free is a good combo. (Immunet will help you alot :slight_smile: )

One thing that you could change is from basic membership to advande membership. You have to see where you find it.
