I’ve been using COMODE firewall v. 2 for a lot of time and everytime a program, for example because it was updated, changed its hash v.2 correctly alerted me that “something had changed” and if I wanted to allow the web access.
Now with version 3 I don’t see any alert in similar cases… what setting do I have to change?
I’m using Firewall Security Level → Custom Policy Mode
In CFP3, you get an alert at the time you install the new version, not at first access time.
Even if Defence+ is disabled?
You would need to have Defense+ enabled to receive alerts about applications. The firewall merely reports on traffic, not applications.
