If I removed the AV from the suite and used another AV is there anything I would be missing from the suite aside from comodo’s AV?

No, all the other features are still available including the Defense+ components.

Thanks for your response I just wanted to know would BOclean still be working on my system as I thought it would not be if the suite had the AV removed?

Detect shellcode injections (i.e. Buffer overflow protection) is included with the Defense+ component, which is still included with FW only installations.
