Icedragon and Sandbox

I’m using IceDragon, and I was wanting to put it into the sand box. I’m aware that IceDragon has a built in virtualisation option, but you can’t use that for normal day-to-day use. The problem is, when I put it into the sandbox, all of the add ons get removed, and my homepage gets reset. I have tried adding all the folder associated with Icedragon into the exceptions list, but for some reason it doesn’t work still. Regular Firefox works in the sandbox, and so does chrome.I’m not sure what the problem is. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you add the “Web browser Data Folders” group to the exceptions defined in “Do not virtualise access to”? In what folder did you install IceDragon?

Not sure. I will try that. It’s installed in
C:\program files(x86)\Comodo\Icedragon

I added that whole folder to exceptions. I have added

C:\Users\My-Name\AppData\Roaming\Comodo\IceDragon
C:\Users\My-Name\AppData\Local\Comodo\IceDragon

The problem may be with you installing in Icedragon folder and CIS assuming it will in IceDragon. Notice the capital D?

I added that whole folder to exceptions. I have added

C:\Users\My-Name\AppData\Roaming\Comodo\IceDragon
C:\Users\My-Name\AppData\Local\Comodo\IceDragon

That should work but is a broader rule than what CIS uses: c:\Users*\AppData\Roaming\Comodo\Icedragon\Profiles*.default\places.sqlite*

You could add the above to the exceptions instead of the wider rule that you made.

Thanks. That seems to have worked.

And just for the sakre of it, the lack of capitalisation on the “dragon”
C:\program files(x86)\Comodo\Icedragon

was my fault. I forgot to click the IceDragon folder when I copied the path, so I just typed it in myself, and forgot to add the capital D.
