i just downloaded comodo on the recomendation of someone

I thought I downloaded the comodo firewall, but after I downloaded it, I restarted my computer then I did a search to find comodo. The search showed a file that was 8000 kbs and iwhich was in my Music folder. Then when I went to open it, I recieved an error message that said:
“This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.”

So I’m kinda wondering what is going on. After I downloaded comodo, I didnt get any prompts to Install it, so does that mean that it has automatically been Installed, or did I somehow download the wrong thing, or what?

Greetings,

Where did you download it?
And do you usually store downloaded items in your music folder?

Ragwing

I used to download alot of music off the internet and this is the folder I created to store it all, but I havent downloaded much of anything in the last few years…this is my at home personal computer I’m talking about…
As for where I downloaded it, I got it from here:

Do you think I should delete the file and try downloading again or is there something else I should do?
By the way, I have an ancient computer. It used to be my wife’s, but in our divorce she took our new one and left me with this one–its a Gateway that she got in 1999/2000 sometime around then. It has the Millinium Edition of windows at least.
Anyway, I’m not very computer savvy, but I’m trying to make this computer useful since I cant afford to buy a new one any time soon…

Hi, the comodo firewall isn’t compatable with this OS.Maybe try sygate or kerio 2.15.Hope this helps.

;D sorry for being so nosy, can’t help my self. curse your ex-wife

If this were the only problem my ex-wife caused me, I’d be blessed…

Thnks for the help, I’ll try one of those–hope they’re free…
