I have got a tremendus issue with CIS..

Good evening…
i have tried CIS premium on my old laptop and notebook and i was great i really loved it ;D it worked great and much better than KIS
after my sister have broken my last notebook i changed it with an HP envy 15 with this configuration

  • intel core i-7 2.4 Ghz
    -8 GB ram memory
    -750 GB HHD
    -2 GB video (geforce nvidia)

my last laptop was an asus v5 with similar configuration but after i tried to install CIS i had so much troubles infact i had a lot of blue screen that has given to me error as
hard driven failure and lpt_watchdog (i can’t remember well)

i was in love with comodo and i want to use it again and again but with this terrible trouble i can’t use it.

Could you help me please?

i have forgotten to say that in my last and new laptop both of them have got windows pro 8.1 :‘( :’( :‘( :’( :cry:

How often does this happen? Was it a one time problem or a bunch of times? Sorry to hear your problem with CIS.

Note: Which version of CIS are you using?

pratically after i have installed CIS premium it crashes after 1 or 2 minutes…
and i’m using the las CIS version in download :cry:

You might want to try the BETA. I hear some people say it is more stable than CIS 6.3. The BETA web filter and Viruscope are still in development and are early implementations. I have not had any crashes for a few weeks now so you should be good. Here is the link if you are interested: http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/3000_beta/standalone/cispremium_installer.exe.

Try to remove using [url=https://forums.comodo.com/install-setup-configuration-help-cis/most-effective-way-to-reinstall-cis-to-avoidfix-problems-t58620.0.html]instructions from Chiron[/url].
This one should be safe for Windows 8. This second removal tool can be downloaded from this link.
It is for you OS Win 8.1 ------------------------------- And to establish CIS again. If you have ( were ), other products of safety earlier, look [url=http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146]these utilities[/url]. I think a problem it will be solved. Note: Don't establish CIS of 7 beta if it isn't really necessary for you. ( if you aren't going to test simply).
