Dear All,

I have a question about switching to your firewall from Zone Alarm for a friend.

Do I need to kill the Internet on a DSL connection whilst uninstalling Zone alarm in the safe mode, and installing Comodo in the normal mode? It’ll be on a Win Xp Home Computer that has another computer connented to it via a router that shares the DSL wirelessy. I don’t know if the router has a hardwall firewall or not.

Hi Cnon

I don’t know if you need to uninstall ZA in Safe Mode, but if you’re uninstalling firewalls I would leave the Net connection unplugged/turned-off/whatever until I had got CFP installed & had rebooted. Only then would I re-establish the Net connection. Define my Trusted Zone (if I had router/LAN), etc…
