I am seeking to learn Malware removal please

Hello all, I am totally new here, I have been searching the net for a Malware removal school, I have found a few but they require you to join their forums and help others which is a great idea so you both learn and help others are the same time but unfortunately I don’t have the physical time needed to do so. I have very basic knowledge of some AV tools and have cleaned a few machines with infections but I am stuck at knowing what to look for in reports and logs from OTL and others, simply running the scans from various softwares was always how I got by, now I wish to learn them inside out as much as possible.

I would like to ask anyone here if there is any online school for learning Malware removal please?

I don’t mind paying for a course or something similar, any ideas please? Thanks.

These are all free but your expected to give back for the training by helping others on the forum(s).

Thanks for the links, I had already check out the middle 3 links before coming here and as my original post mentioned, I do not have the time to commit so would you happen to know of any paid schooling anywhere for this please?

The average completion time is 4 to 6 months. If you are a serious about learning then giving a few hours here and there shouldn’t be a problem. I mean if you can make time to complete the coarse then what’s wrong with a little real on hands training to help others. Using what you’ve learned will be the best teacher.

As far as paid training . . . no ideas.

Nothing at all wrong with helping others, I have my own charity organization here in New York. Since my time is already spread so thin, I am worried about the “comittment” aspect, that is the problem since I have no idea who often I will be able to return to the forums to help anyone in need and I don’t wish to make promises which I may not be able to keep.

I am new here but have been around the malware removal forums for a few years. I am a member of ASAP and UNITE and graduated from WTT. The time that I invested learning malware removal has been one of the more rewarding experiences in my life. It is true that there are many hours to invest in the training but the ability to help others later (once you have graduated) is a great feeling.
