In May 2015, HTTP/2 (RFC 7540 ) was published, and now HTTP/3 is on its way.
HTTP/3 is HTTP over QUIC, secured with TLS 1.3 (or newer in the future).
HTTP over QUIC isn’t new, though. Google began to experiment with QUIC in 2013 . However, the first draft called HTTP/3 was published 18 December 2018.

I really hope there will be a adblocker that can work with QUIC protocol. I’m thinking the adblock delevepers will have to add some major new code to be able to block QUIC. IF it gets that far I may just block QUIC if it can be done without breaking a website like youtube >:(

HTTP/3 is done, and published as RFC 9114 !
