Hi all.
I have a HP G62, one month old.
I just received a notification, through HP Support Assistant, of a new update (BIOS Update UEFI).
I’ve googled around to find out about UEFI, and I did. But now I’m a bit nervous, considering how BIOS updates can be sensible.
Has anyone tried this update? And did it go smoothly?

Usually BIOS updates include fixes and improvements and i myself prefer to update the BIOS when the company release new versions. Why are you worry? I suggest you to read the upgrade guide and upgrade your BIOS to the latest version. I updated my BIOS several times and without problem. Just read guides and do it.
Just be sure not to have a power outage during update and you’ll be fine.
