How weird is not this?

Today I did a search with “yahoo” for wilderssecurity (a forum I check not too often).
But I noticed a quick redirect when clicking the link the url was:

http://se.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A1f4cfkcpnNJ0RoBGqwTOAx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByNGxmazk4BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2lyZAR2dGlkAw--/SIG=11j12icha/EXP=1232402332/**http%3A//www.wilderssecurity.com/ <------- (link not complete use copy paste)

Could this be some form of man in the middle attack?

Or is this perfectly normal with yahoo links? I really don’t see the point of clicking first from Yahoo.com then to http://se.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A1f4cfkcpnNJ0RoBGqwTOAx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByNGxmazk4BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2lyZAR2dGlkAw--/SIG=11j12icha/EXP=1232402332/**http%3A//www.wilderssecurity.com/ and then get to wilders…

Perhaps the first URL is registering where you are going against what you searched for (it’s still yahoo)… not so weird for a search biz maybe?

Ah thats probably right, they want to know what users clicked and so on to improve the search.
I understand now… thanks!
