How to white list a constantly changing exe?

I’m a software developer and everytime I build my application, the EXE changes. I do dozens, sometimes hundreds of recompiles a day and Defense+ will restrict it everytime I rebuild and try to run. Is there anyway to have Defense+ ignore a specific EXE in a specific location so that it never restricts again even if the EXE changes? I currently have to Disable D+ so I can actually get some work done.

Thanks.

The easiest workaround at the moment is to give it the Installer or Updater predefined policy.

Go to Defense+ → Computer Security Policy. If a policy does not already exist for your .exe, create one and apply the Installer or Updater policy. If a policy already exists, click on it and select Edit, then apply the Installer or Updater policy.

This will allow your .exe to change and Defense+ will not care.

That worked great, thanks for the tip!

Glad to hear it.
