When installing new equipment or programs, I am told to turn off (disable) virus program, I just installed my wireless Mouse and Keyboard (logitek) and it told me to turn it off, so I had to turn off all of Comodo firewall and antivirus, also notied it should be turned off when burning a DVD.
You shouldn’t need to turn off your firewall, but to turn off the AV, just right-click on the shield icon in the system tray. Mouse up to Antivirus Security Level and select Disabled.
Those warnings are erring on the very cautious side of things. My advice is to ignore those warnings as I have installed many drivers with no problemsl. Do keep in the back of your head that when a driver install is problematic the av or firewall might play a role.
