How to remove files that dont wanna be deleted ?

Hi!

I uninstalled an application, and some fiels remained on my HDD. I tried to delete them from Win7 ( this was the OS the app was installed on) and win7 didnt let me to do that, so i rebooted on Xp, but it also says that the file is being used or write protected. I have checked it, and it isnt write protected, so i donwloaded Unlocker to check what process locks the file, but it says that its not locked. :confused:

Does somebody know a SW wherewith i could delete the leftovers ( or any file what i want ) ?

Try safe mode. It almost always succeeds for me, at least for XP.
