How to Remove Button Link to Comodo Internet Security?

After getting fed up with Firefox being slow, I am trying IceDragon. After a little bit of a bumpy start I got it more or less working the way I want to.

However, on the toolbars is a square button that links to the download page for Comodo Internet Security. After reading reviews I don’t want this software, but no matter what I do I can’t get the button to uninstall – and it’s cluttering up my space. Is there a way to get rid of this button? If there isn’t there should be. It’s intrusive and unwanted.

Welcome.
Move the cursor up in the UI.
Press right on the mouse.
Uncheck-Display Web Inspector, etc.
If you talk about it?
P.S. True, I do not see the button on the download link Comodo. ???
If you can give a screenshot?

Hi Aunty Fascist and jenny66,
As Jenny states right click a blank area on the menu or tab bar and then untick/uncheck Display Virtual Mode. (Screenshot)

If CIS is not installed the page this button shows contains a link to download CIS. (screenshot)

Kind regards.

Hi captainsticks.
I understood that about it.
But just was not sure about this.
In the CID portable version of the button does not work. (No download link Comodo.)

I do not know if it should to work in a CID portable for download ? Thanks. for screen also.

Yeah, thanks. I actually found it right after I posted that and I thought I deleted this thread but it didn’t take.

Hi jenny66,
I presume it should work with CID portable with no CIS installed, I will test this next time I uninstall CIS.

Hi Aunty Fascist,
No problems, this topic may help others with the same question. :-TU
Thanks.

Well.
I will look then at your check in this subject.
Thanks.

In the CID portable version of the button does not work.
P.S. Whether has value if I use CIS 5.xx ? If installed CIS 5 ? Probably should not be related. (The button should offer to download or no?) From reading the CID help. I realized (If I understand correctly) that this button is only for CIS 6, and is not intended for a CID portable.
