how to perform a bare metal restore?

Can anyone direct me to instructions for performing a bare metal (new disk or failed file system) restore with Comodo Backup? I couldn’t find anything in the manual regarding a full disk restore.

Hi

We don’t have a rescue CD available for Comodo BackUp (yet).
To restore a bare metal backup on a crashed system you can use a BartPE/WinPE cd or you can install a fresh copy of Windows and Comodo BackUp.

id just like to tease that out a little to check i have this right.

in the event of a disk failure the steps are

  1. get windows up and running
  2. get comodo up and running
  3. do a c:\ drive restore (assuming you have one)

then you are back to normal. do i have this right?
