How to disable plugins in Dragon?

Chromium plugins can be usually disabled using chrome://plugins/

Both dragon-ui://plugins/ and chrome://plugins/ don’t apparently work on CD 4.1.1.8 (XP SP3 32bit)

Does anybody know a way to get that page on CD?

Without disabling Java plugin, testing Wench > Options > Under the Hood Tab > Privacy \ Content Settings… button > Plugins \ Do not allow any site to use plugins

will still have http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml load java Succesfully (both CD and chromium)

NOTES: It is possible to disable Java on such page by setting Wench > Options > Under the Hood Tab > Privacy \ Content Settings… button > Plugins \ Do not allow any site to use Javascript (both CD and chromium)

Can anybody reproduce this?

LOL Got an Easter egg as well. That’s it for my 1337th(leet) post

I’m not sure you can disable plugins (not that I’ve seen) but you can view plugins installed by using about:plugins

Disabling javascript should stop the java applet from loading.

Indeed I posted the wrong steps in the notes whereas it should have been Wrench > Options > Under the Hood Tab > Privacy \ Content Settings… button > Javascript \ Do not allow any site to use Javascript

The feature I’ve been mentioning is different from about:plugins which is available in both CD and chromium

chrome://plugins/ (or the likely equivalent dragon-ui://plugins/ ) would allow to selectively disable Java (or others) plugin on all sites regardless if JavaScript and Plugins are allowed.

Probably this feature was not available in the 4.x branch and will be added in forthcoming CD releases.

Per site plugin-blocking on the other hand is there already and doesn’t apparently work for Java-plugin (though the per site script blocking appear to apply to java as well though they are not exactly the same thing)

Provide a different example where it is necessary to disable Javascript whereas it does not appear possible to specifically affect Java plugin using the per-site plugin blocker (eg allowing scripts but preventing plugins like Java)

Could it be the first example of extreme user friendliness (as in “I blocked javascript but Java still works”)?
