Hello everyone, I know this has been asked before (more or less) but those topics refer to older versions of Comodo. Maybe now it’s different, there’s a different way of doing what I am asking.
I have Comodo firewall installed, version 6.2 (6.2.285401.2860 to be exact), on Windows XP SP3, and I would want to install Comodo Antivirus too. From reading on the internet, there seems to be some problems when trying to install one after the other. I want to ask what is the corect way of installing the Comodo Antivirus after the Comodo Firewall was already installed, so none of these problems occur. What is the corect way of installation so I won’t have any problems, any conflicts between the Firewall and the Antivirus, practically so I don’t have any problems at all?
The computer that I’m using is 32bit and the OS (Win XP SP3) is also 32bit.
P.S: I don’t think I have accidentally installed the Antivirus too, when I installed the Firewall, because:
- when I open the Comodo Firewall interface, it says Comodo Firewall
- the interface does have a scan button too, but the scan is Comodo Rating Scan, it doesn’t have any other type of scan
- also, on the Start Menu → All Programs → Comodo, I have the following subfolders: Comodo Firewall, Dragon, GeekBuddy. Only those 3
- when I open Start Menu → All Programs → Comodo → COMODO Firewall → Add and Remove components, and then press the Change button, “Install COMODO Firewall” is checked, but “Install COMODO Antivirus” is unchecked
So probably I haven’t accidentally installed the Antivirus too, when I installed the Firewall, but you please tell me if I installed it or not.
