How to completely uninstall MS Java VM? [Resolved]

I inserted my ISP’s installation cd the other day only to find out it later installed unwanted junk. It did this in the background without my knowledge (:AGY). I noticed one of them is the classic beauty named MS Java VM. (Haven’t seen that on my computer since Windows 98 :)).

Anyway, I followed two different websites with basically the same instructions to uninstall, but it’s still appearing in IE6’s Internet Options. How can I remove this part (and other hidden areas, if any 88))?

Sounds like you may have missed a registry key in the cleanup.
How do I uninstall Microsoft Virtual Machine?

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Java VM Delete the Java VM registry key.

Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\JAVA_VM
Delete the JAVA_VM registry key.

There’s this too:

~cat~: I got rid those already

Toggie: 1st link doesn’t apply to me as I don’t see in the Advanced tab, but it’s actually in the Security tab.

I’ve attached the 2nd pic that shows an option that I don’t think I’ve seen before Java VM was installed…

Edit: I used the uninstaller tool in your 2nd link, Toggie. It works :). Just has to agree to a couple of agreement screens, though.

Thanks, mods. I was saved from a re-format ;D.
