Dear All,
I have an application (Acer empowering technology) that asked me for internet access as soon as I installed comodo and I denied permission with the option -remember- active. Afterwards I realized that this application does not work unless It has access to the internet, but i do not know how to grant permission again.
In Zone alarm this was very easy, there was a list of all the applications that had requested internet access and your decision and it could be changed quickly.
How can I do that with comodo?
Regards
Hey welcome to the forums
Answer : click on comodo, firewall, advanced, networksecuritypolicies ← And modify your previous settings as you wish.
mmm…
In the Defense events folder appears this:
c:\Acer\Empowering Technology\eSettings\Service\capuserv.exe
It has tried to modify the application: \Device\Nsi
Apparently Comodo has stopped this actionand for this reason my Acer toolbar does not work
When i go to the Firewall and Network Security Policy, this application, i.e.:
c:\Acer\Empowering Technology\eSettings\Service\capuserv.exe
has a green circle and the “Allow requests” message next to it.
I do not know how to stop the defense application doing what it is doing
regards
Hi Moquillo,
If you look under Defence+/Advanced/Computer Security Policy you should see an entry regarding the .exe you mention.Highlight the entry and then choose “Remove” APPLY to close all windows.
Try this first, let us know if it solves the problem.

Thanks Matty and Kyle,
After deleting that, comodo asked me again when the same application asked for access and this time I granted permission.
Now I am understanding the way comodo works.
Thanks very much
Moquillo

ll mark this as resolved and close it,if you need it re opening pm an online Mod.
