How temporarily stop all traffic?

How do I easily but temporarily stop all traffic, and open back up later? I looked in the manual and here, but can’t find it.

Related question…on the summary page, what does “Stop all activities” do? Does that mean stop it’s own rule processing (which I guess would let everything through), or does it stop internet ‘activities’ thus letting nothing through? Very confusing wording, and not in the manual that I could find (but search didn’t work in the manual for some reason).

Aside: I suggest clearer, unambiguous words be used for this control.

" Stop all activities " means stop all traffic.

Thanks. And that might be much better wording to use for that function.

Also, it would be a good item to have on the systray icon rt click menu.
