Is there a button or similar to restore the default settings of CFP 3?
I recently installed it and I think I may have blocked something unintentionally. Would be nice to be able to restore factory settings.
What did you block? A D+ alert or firewall alert. Its better to understand how to unblock something rather then restoring settings. To see what you blocked simply go to Firewall\Advanced\Network Security Policy and see what program you blocked. Also go to D+\Advanced\Computer Security Policy and look through the list pf programs to see what you blocked.
To restore your factory settings you can go to Manage My Configuration Under Miscellaneous and select Optimal Security.
To be honest, I am not sure 
All of a sudden I can’t get an IP address from my home WLAN unless I disable the firewall. It worked a couple of days ago.
I learned a bit on these forums and figure I just wanted to start over from default settings and pay more attention to the alerts and try to set it up more properly than I did.
(And Optimal Security is both checked and greyed out, so I can’t select it. Switched to Network Security and then back to Optimal Security however…)
Now I have been deleting entries from FW / Advanced / Network Security Policy hoping I’ll be prompted for action for those items again.
I am going to do the same for D+ / Advanced / Computer Security Policy … unless you recommend me not to
No need to delete you can just change the rule to trusted for each program.
