How do I make CD portable

Ok, so I have CD (29.1.0.0) installed, has saved passwords, etc, but I need to be able to use the same data from another system - what’s the best way to go about this?

Thanks!

Hi DeathStalker77,
Install Dragon portable to your preferred location.
Portable Version

To transfer all settings and data from the installed version to the portable copy the ‘Default’ folder from the,
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Comodo\Dragon\User Data folder.

Paste the copied ‘Default’ folder to the same folder in your portable (Select replace existing).
Location example: C:\Portable Location\Comodo\Dragon\User Data folder.

Alternative, if you just require your bookmarks and passwords copy/paste/replace the following 2 files from the ‘Default’ folder instead of the whole folder.
‘Bookmarks’ file = Bookmarks.
‘Login Data’ file = Passwords.

Hope that helps.

Hello captainsticks!

Will copying those folders also include the current plug-ins I have?

Thanks!

Hi DeathStalker77,
Copying the ‘Default’ folder will include your current extensions.
Plug-ins are system wide, the portable version will use the plug-ins that are available on which ever system the portable version is used on.

Tip: If you decide to copy the whole folder, I suggest clearing your browser data (Cache, History etc) first. Ctrl+Shift+Del
This helps decrease the size that needs to be copied.
