How do I log all traffic

Squeeky clean install. Newbie user. How do I create a rule that will log all connections, both inbound and outbound? Can I modify that rule to ignore connections local to my network? I like to log everything at first until I decide what needs to be blocked and what needs to be let through.

Each rule has the option to log if fired (Global and Application rules).
Simply check the box to log it (top right corner).
Firewall/Advanced/Network Security Policy. Edit
For predefined policies, click Firewall/Advanced/Predefined Firewall Policies.
