How do I deal with Error 002 (Failed to load Safelist DB)?

Lately I’ve noticed that when my scheduled CAVS begins to run, the following message appears:

Error002 Failed to load Safelist Database

I’ve set the schedule to run while offline- will this error only be solved when I’m online?

How do I fix this problem? Scanning of files won’t happen until I click OK on this message’s button.

Thanks. :THNK

The only way I have found so far is to stop the scan and restart it manually.

However, there are supposed to be some updates next week that are to address buffer overflow problem with safelist database maker - perhaps the updates will fix this problem too. I notice that the patch file Umesh attached to the post below has a new SafeList.dll in it:

https://forums.comodo.com/help_for_comodo_antivirus/buffer_overrun_with_cav-t10145.0.html;msg88758#msg88758

:SMLR

I’m getting this error too, every time I right click a file and click scan.

Screenshot attached.

And installing the patch makes no difference, same issue.
